Cheapest Prop Firm Challenges
18 firms · Updated July 2026
The table below ranks every prop firm we track by the real cost of its cheapest evaluation — the fee you actually pay after live discount codes are applied, not the sticker price. Entry cost matters more in prop trading than in most purchases because a challenge fee is rarely paid once: most traders fail their first evaluation, so the true cost of getting funded is usually two or three attempts plus the occasional reset. A firm that charges $50 to start is a very different bet from one charging $500, even when the account sizes look similar on paper.
Cheap is not automatically good, though. Rock-bottom fees are sometimes paired with tighter drawdown rules, stricter consistency requirements or slower payouts, which is why this ranking sits inside the full comparison table rather than a bare price list. Use it to shortlist two or three firms inside your budget, then open each review and check the terms that decide whether you keep the account: daily loss, maximum drawdown and payout conditions.
How we rank
Firms are ordered by the lowest challenge fee we list for them after live discounts, cheapest first. The order is recomputed from the pricing and terms in our database whenever a firm's data changes — no firm can pay for its position on this page. Cheapest Prop Firm Challenges: FAQs
How do you rank the cheapest prop firms?
We take every visible challenge a firm lists with us, apply its current discount to the list price, and rank firms by the lowest resulting fee. Nothing in the order is paid placement — it is recomputed from listed pricing whenever a firm's data changes.
Do the prices include discount codes?
Yes. The fee used for ranking is the final price after the discount codes we track, not the sticker price. Codes change without notice, so always confirm the reduced price is showing in the firm's checkout before you pay.
Why shouldn't I just pick the cheapest firm?
Because the fee is only one side of the cost. A cheap challenge with tight drawdown or strict consistency rules can end up more expensive than a pricier one you actually pass. Check each firm's rules on its review page before you buy, not just its price.
Are free or near-free prop firm challenges real?
Very cheap entries are usually promotional trials, competitions or heavily restricted accounts rather than a standard funded path. Read what the fee actually buys — target, drawdown and payout eligibility — before treating a low price as a bargain.
