About FTMO Futures
FTMO Futures offers Growth and Pro evaluations with $50,000, $100,000 and $150,000 simulated accounts. Traders who pass and complete verification can qualify for a Sim-Funded Account with real payouts and a 90% trader share. The service is currently in Beta. Growth and Pro have different daily loss, consistency and withdrawal conditions.
Growth and Pro evaluations
Both programs offer a single evaluation with $50K, $100K and $150K simulated accounts. Growth starts at $119 per month and Pro at $139 per month, with no activation fee. Passing the evaluation, completing identity verification and signing the agreement can qualify you for a Sim-Funded Account.
Growth has a 40% best-day consistency rule in evaluation and no evaluation daily loss limit. Pro has a 50% consistency rule and a hard daily loss limit. The earliest possible pass under consistency is three trading days for Growth or two for Pro. There is no separate minimum-days rule or evaluation deadline while the subscription is active.
Drawdown and daily loss
Maximum drawdown trails the highest previous end-of-day balance and stops moving once its floor reaches the initial simulated capital. Your equity must stay above that floor throughout the session, including open profit or loss and commissions.
On Sim-Funded Growth accounts, hitting the soft daily loss limit pauses trading for the session. On Pro, the daily limit is a hard breach in both evaluation and Sim-Funded stages. Sim-Funded accounts have no profit target or consistency rule.
Sim-Funded payouts
Traders receive 90% of an eligible requested payout on both programs. Growth allows requests after four qualifying days; Pro requires five. Each qualifying day must meet the profit threshold for your account size. At least 50% of each request must come from new profit in the current payout cycle.
All conditions apply together. Pro’s 100% requestable fraction is not a 100% profit split. FTMO lists a $20 minimum available for payout; whether that is before or after the 90/10 split still needs confirmation.
Growth $50,000: 4 qualifying days, each with at least $150 profit; up to 50% requestable; $2,500 per-request cap; 90% trader share. All payout conditions apply together.
Growth $100,000: 4 qualifying days, each with at least $250 profit; up to 50% requestable; $3,000 per-request cap; 90% trader share. All payout conditions apply together.
Growth $150,000: 4 qualifying days, each with at least $300 profit; up to 50% requestable; $4,000 per-request cap; 90% trader share. All payout conditions apply together.
Pro $50,000: 5 qualifying days, each with at least $200 profit; up to 100% requestable; $5,000 per-request cap; 90% trader share. All payout conditions apply together.
Pro $100,000: 5 qualifying days, each with at least $300 profit; up to 100% requestable; $6,000 per-request cap; 90% trader share. All payout conditions apply together.
Pro $150,000: 5 qualifying days, each with at least $500 profit; up to 100% requestable; $8,000 per-request cap; 90% trader share. All payout conditions apply together.
Progression to Live
Live accounts are offered by invitation at FTMO’s discretion after it validates Sim-Funded trading. The profit split remains 90/10. Traders can request profits above the required one-time buffer daily, with no payout cap. The exact buffer amount has not been established in the reviewed sources.
A Live market-data fee applies; FTMO covers one exchange. Evaluation and Sim-Funded results do not guarantee a Live invitation.

Trading hours and permitted strategies
- Close positions and cancel orders before 4:10 p.m. ET, or an earlier instrument close. Trading resumes from 6 p.m. ET. No holding across the daily close or over the weekend.
- News trading is permitted subject to FTMO’s restrictions on excessive risk concentration.
- Copying between your own accounts and automated strategies is permitted subject to FTMO’s rules. Trading another person’s account and cross-account risk hedging are prohibited.
- Do not enter trades within 2% of an instrument’s CME price limit.
- A Sim-Funded Account can close after 30 days of inactivity.
Account limits and scaling
You can hold up to three Sim-Funded Accounts across Growth and Pro combined. At the largest current size, this is $450,000 in nominal simulated capital. Each evaluation has its own subscription.
Sim-Funded accounts start at 2, 4 or 6 mini contracts for $50K, $100K or $150K respectively, scaling up to 5, 10 or 15 based on end-of-day profit. Ten micro contracts count as one mini. Capacity can decrease if profits fall.
Fees and market data
Evaluation subscriptions renew monthly, including after an account breach. A paid reset does not change your billing date. The subscription ends after the pass is confirmed. Trading commissions are $0.50 per mini per side or $0.20 per micro per side, plus exchange and NFA fees.
Level 1 market data is included after the required attestation. Level 2 (Depth of Market) market data cannot be purchased while logged in with FTMO credentials. This restriction concerns the data, not whether a platform has a DOM interface.
Monthly evaluation / reset fees, for $50K, $100K and $150K respectively: Growth $119 / $109, $169 / $159, $229 / $219; Pro $139 / $129, $199 / $189, $269 / $259. No activation fee.

You must be at least 18 and register as a natural person. Company and self-employed registrations are not supported. Eligibility depends on residency, nationality and account stage.
US residents: Arkansas, Delaware, Louisiana, Montana and South Carolina are excluded.
Outside the US: FTMO has a separate list of 101 excluded residency jurisdictions, including Australia, China, Russia, Ukraine, Vietnam and Indonesia. Nationality and residency restrictions also apply to Iran, Syria, Myanmar and North Korea, with conditional EEA-resident exceptions for the first three.
