Daily Loss Limit (DLL)
- The Daily Loss Limit (DLL) is the maximum amount a trader can lose in a single trading day before trading is restricted until the next session.
- Lucid Trading uses a soft breach DLL, meaning the account remains active as long as the Maximum Loss Limit (MLL) is not violated.
Important Notes
- Daily drawdown calculations are based on End-of-Day (EOD) balance calculations.
- Once the MLL is breached, the account fails permanently.
- All positions must be closed before the daily market close / settlement period. Overnight holding is not permitted unless specifically allowed on live accounts.
Maximum Loss Limit (MLL)
- The MLL trails the highest end-of-day account balance.
- Once the account reaches the trailing threshold target, the MLL locks and no longer trails upward.
Micro-scalping Policy
- Micro-scalping (holding trades for 5 seconds or less) is strictly prohibited.
Payout Structure (LucidPro)
- Traders receive 100% of the first $10,000 in payouts.
- After the first $10,000 withdrawn, traders will receive 90% split.
To qualify for a payout:
- Traders must meet the consistency requirement.
- Traders must maintain profits above the required buffer balance.
- Accounts must complete the required profitable trading days.
Payout Structure (LucidFlex)
- 90% to the trader
To qualify for a payout:
- Complete at least 5 profitable trading days.
- Maintain positive net profit during the payout cycle.
- Follow all trading rules and payout policies.
Payout Structure (LucidDirect)
LucidDirect accounts bypass the traditional evaluation phase but operate with stricter payout consistency requirements.
- 90% Trader
Restrictions:
- Strict payout consistency rules.
- Buffer balance requirements.
- Ongoing payout qualification objectives.
LucidPro Consistency Rule
- LucidPro funded accounts require a 40% Consistency Percentage for payout eligibility.
- Older accounts purchased before November 28, 2025 may still operate under the previous 35% rule.
LucidDirect Consistency Rule
- LucidDirect accounts require a stricter 20% Consistency Percentage.
Important Consistency Rule Notes
- The consistency percentage resets after every payout.
- If the percentage exceeds 40%, additional trading is required before payout eligibility is restored.
Live Account Transition
Traders may become eligible for live funded accounts after:
- Multiple successful payouts.
- Consistent risk management.
- Internal review by Lucid Trading’s risk team.
