If you wish to combine multiple FTMO Accounts into a single FTMO Account, this can be arranged upon request, provided that all of the following conditions are met. Conditions: FTMO Accounts to be merged are unused (no trade executed) FTMO Accounts to be merged are in the same base currency FTMO Accounts to be merged originate from the same product (1-Step or 2-Step) Important information If you have already started using an FTMO Account, you can fulfil the first condition by withdrawing the Reward. You can merge Swing FTMO Accounts as long as the combined initial balance does not reach the size of the FTMO Challenge, where the Swing option is not offered. If your merged initial balance reaches this limit, we can process the merge by providing a Standard account type. If a Swing type FTMO Account is merged with a Standard type FTMO Account, the merged FTMO Account will be a Standard type account. The resulting merged FTMO Account will have a combined balance as well as correspondingly adjusted drawdown limits. Once your FTMO Accounts are merged into a single FTMO Account, the merge is irreversible.

Our system allows you to modify certain parameters of your account, provided that no trade has been placed on the current account. Evaluation Process While trading during the Evaluation Process, the restriction does not apply regardless of the account type (Standard account or Swing). You may trade freely during all macroeconomic news releases, provided you do not engage in any Forbidden Trading Practices . This applies to both products: FTMO Challenge: 1-Step — the Evaluation consists of a single phase (FTMO Challenge). FTMO Challenge: 2-Step — the Evaluation consists of two phases (FTMO Challenge and Verification). FTMO Account FTMO Traders trading on an FTMO Account must comply with the following restrictions when trading during selected news releases. An exception applies only to Swing accounts. This rule applies equally to traders who qualified through FTMO Challenge: 1-Step and FTMO Challenge: 2-Step. On the targeted instruments, it is not permitted to open or close any trades, including the execution of pending orders (such as Stop Loss or Take Profit), within a time window starting 2 minutes before and ending 2 minutes after the release of selected news announcements. You are allowed to hold open positions on the targeted instruments if they were opened more than 2 minutes before the restricted event. Please note that if a Stop Loss or Take Profit is triggered within the restricted time window, this will also be considered a breach of the FTMO Account Agreement. Trading on non-targeted instruments is not restricted. For example, during the US NFP release, you may trade EURGBP or AUDNZD; however, you must not open or close trades on USDJPY or GBPUSD within the time window of 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after the NFP release. Violating this rule may result in termination of an FTMO Account. The following table lists all restricted events and the affected simulated assets. Trading with FTMO while travelling to a different country is generally allowed. The use of VPN/VPS is also generally allowed. Please keep in mind the one and only exception. Traders who travel to the United States should avoid logging in to MetaTrader and cTrader accounts from there. When using VPN/VPS, clients should also avoid changing their geolocation to the United States when using MetaTrader, cTrader or TradingView.

Overnight and weekend position restrictions apply only to the Standard account type . The Swing account type does not have any restrictions on holding positions overnight or over the weekend. For Standard accounts, these restrictions apply only once you start trading on an FTMO Account . They do not apply during the Evaluation Process . Evaluation Process While trading during the Evaluation Process, the restriction does not apply regardless of the account type (Standard account or Swing). You are allowed to keep your positions open overnight and over the weekend. This applies to both products: FTMO Challenge: 1-Step — the Evaluation consists of a single phase (FTMO Challenge). FTMO Account Once you become an FTMO Trader and start trading on an FTMO Account, you are required to close your positions shortly before the markets close for the weekend or if the rollover (market break) lasts longer than 2 hours. An exception applies only to Swing accounts. These rules apply equally to traders who qualified through FTMO Challenge: 1-Step and FTMO Challenge: 2-Step. Trading hours depend on the specific instrument and may vary due to market conditions, holidays, or other events. Yes. If a trader you referred for FTMO Challenges later purchases FTMO Futures, that purchase, and every later Futures purchase they make, attributes to you automatically and earns you commission, even if you referred them before Futures launched. The one exception is a purchase where they enter another affiliate’s code, in which case that specific account belongs to the other affiliate and everything else stays with you. The mechanics work exactly as for any other Futures referral: The 12-month commission period runs from that trader’s first FTMO Futures purchase, through any affiliate , not from the date you originally referred them. A trader you referred two years ago starts their 12-month period with their first Futures purchase, and that period never restarts. Subscription and Account Reset commissions accrue at your level rates in force when each payment lands, and count toward your monthly level total as normal. FTMO Futures country availability still applies. This also works the other way around: if you referred a trader for FTMO Futures and they later buy an FTMO Challenge, that purchase attributes to you and earns commission in exactly the same way. No action is needed on your side. Attribution follows your existing referral automatically.
